Two decent off road runs I’ve done around Peebles this year; the Tweed Tunnel Trail run & the Glentress trail run, hard but would recommend.

Good to see Stirling Marathon is back on the calendar for 2020, with a switch to autumn (October 11th) rather than spring - although this will put it in more or less straight competition with Loch Ness

Very good news, may even have a crack at it. The half, that is ;-) (Looks at entry page.) HOW much?? Hmm.

Also puts in near direct competition with the Glasgow Half, which will be the week before.

Cracking shot on the event home page, and unlike Edinburgh MF, a genuine picture, albeit a view you won't see in the race. (From south of the A91 south of Bannockburn, roughly.)

I think I'll stick with the Neil McCover Half at less than half the price. But it is good to seen another marathon option.

It'd be 124 if the race didn't clash with an away weekend for myself!

I’ve entered Newhailes Winter Trail 10k in Musselburgh Nov 24. It’s organised by Scurry Events & this will be its 2nd year.
Did anyone run this last year & if so, how techy are the trails please?
