I've just finished the Kirkcaldy Parks Half Marathon inaugural event. The last half marathon in Kirkcaldy was 1994, and I ran that one too, although I have no idea what my time was then. It's a tough course wih some scenic and some not so scenic sections, a tricky cobbled sectiion a round Dysart harbour and some awkward traily bits in Ravenscraig Park. The weather was great, which brought the crowds of supporters out.

well done to everyone getting round in the heatwave today, some hard won times and PB's! was fairly near the front and the combined field was absolutely no problem at all. hopefully not too many dehydrated half marathoners.

How good was Aberdeen? Gorgeous day. Beautiful scenery. Loved it. Time scuppered a smidge by taking a bad fall but got cleaned up and taped up eventually
