Mrs Jigs (Luverlylegs)
I noticed this thread and decided to pop in and say good luck to racers this weekend! And to mention that Team Jigs have entered the Great Scottish Run so I will be keeping my eye on the thread for any mention as it would be great to meet new Fetchies and to see some we already know :-)

Good luck in Aberdeen and in Glasgow to the Jigses - it's a great event, big city, big numbers, very well organised though and a fast, but interesting route. Highlight (for locals) is getting to run on the motorway! :-) G

Would have been nice to meet with team jigs again but sadly I'm not doing the GSR although myself and Shondo had spoken about it. My nephew is doing it.
Said nephew is up on Aberdeen for Sunday's 10k, he knocked out a cracking BH 10k this year and was first finisher at Stonehaven parkrun a few weeks back.

the turn for 10k / split with half is a few metres north of the accommodation road turn off. It about 10metres short of a bench - dedicated to a Craig Scott.

I'll be doing the half on Sunday, part of a work team. Just hope my belly behaves itself. Sad to see the event close after only three years.

so is it a sharp left, but a wee bit later?

or a turnaround point doubling back? and therefore crossing infront of the path of runners, to get into the accomodation road?

or is everyone going to be running on the Right hand side by this point so ok to go straight on or left and turn?
