I was wrong, Alloa start 10am:
NEW RACE START TIME, 10AM on 3RD JUNE. After the cancellation of our race on 18th March we sought a new race date consulting the relevant authorities Scottish Athletics, Police Scotland and Clackmannanshire Council. Permission was granted for a new race date of 3rd June with a start time of 0900. We posted notification to this effect on our website and Facebook page. Soon after we were contacted by Stirling Triathlon Club telling us that on the same date they were holding an annual event over its traditional route. While the Triathlon starts at Stirling University it does enter Clackmannanshire bringing cyclists on to part of our Half Marathon course at a time when our runners would be on that section. Our race could not safely go ahead with this situation in place. After discussion with the Triathlon Club and safety officials it was decided that our Half Marathon could go ahead if we delayed our race start by one hour to 1000 hrs. We ask you all to note the new start time and apologise for any inconvenience caused.

All seems good... Might even see some extra support out for both races if people hang around long enough after the bikes whizz through!

I'm amused by "bringing cyclists on to part of our Half Marathon course" - by which they mean the public roadway and " at a time when our runners would be on that section".. They sound surprised by the issue when some very basic research would have revealed this conflict - it was vertically flagged up to them very soon after they announced the new date. However we have reached a solution so we can all now get excited about something else.

I am surprised council/police permission was given without flagging and raising this conflict.
Anyway, it does seem like a good compromise and to be honest an extra hour in my bed suits me anyway. let the weirdo triathletes give up their sleep
