Huge congratulations to fetchie kt_m_white who won the Inverness Half yesterday in an amazing time of 1:15:58
I don't think she posts much, but in case you are lurking, then well done for a great run and a big PB ( according to the runbritain article ! )

Balloch to Clydebank is ok, my PB course. No significant climbs and fairly flat. I enjoy point to point races, it's not the most scenic but that doesn't really bother as always entered it to run a hard effort.
Only issue can be hanging around too long at the start once you have come off the bus depending on how cold it is. Toilet facilities are available at the start,

Inverness always feels to early in the year, but looks like a cracker this year! Some amazing times by my team mates from Jogscotland Hazlehead.

I must say, the toilets at Lomond Shores (the start) were very nice: probably the high spot of the event. I would rate it above Monklands - then again I would rate the former EK half considerably above Monklands.
Well done kt_m_white :-).

Thanks K5 and Dvorak. That was my first time running at Inverness and I thought it was a really good event. It was a good PB for me. Well organised and a good route. I would have run Balloch to Clydebank if they hadn't changed the date. I think its an OK race, good facilities at the start, quite a fast flat course, but yes not the most inspiring of finshes

There is no Balloch to Clydebank this year, but having run it once I have to say I would not be going back to do it again

There are going to be several hundred disgruntled runners standing in a car park in Clydebank at 8am in two Sundays time then SoaPM :-p.
And maybe another couple of dozen near the former Playdrome, who didn't read the instructions and find that the bus pick-up has moved to the new leisure centre.
