Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Hoping it'll be a good forum for training and chat.

Happy New Year everyone!

Hello 2017! and a wee reminder for anyone who may not have noticed it (and especially anyone doing the Great Winter Run*) that there's a Fetchie meetup at Portobello parkrun which will roll on to Planet Café and then to the Kilderkin (near foot of Royal Mile) (*so meet us there :-)) and/or xcs in Holyrood Park and possibly beyond.

Any women like to enter a 6K trail run at Dunkeld? Only £40.

You do apparently get free jelly babies though. And a glass of bubbly (variety unspecified) at the end.

(Yes, ah ken it is 2017 now :-p.)

I'm liking the billing of it - Take a day away and enjoy the freedom of a trail run (or walk) through stunning scenery followed by the treats you deserve. After the run return to a 4 star hotel to enjoy a glass of bubbly, massage, lunch and pool. All our runs are small and exclusive. Don't miss a great day out!

If all that is included in your entry fee it's not that bad ;)

Massage, yes. Lunch and pool, no.

Take a carload of friends and a map and I'd think you could do it all* for that sum and have enough for the chippy on the way hame.

*The massage might be a problem but maybe you know someone who'd fancy a day out and rub you down for a lunch :-)
