Star, hugs to you and hope you're ok. x Sorry I never made it to the pub afterwards - I hadn't realised people were going home/to hotel in between cafe and pub/XC as we were sitting inside with TripletDad and his daughters (Lovely to see them all grown up, TD! :)), so when I went to the pub and nobody was there and I started getting quite cold post-run and missing Mini-SA, I just went home, I'm afraid... Sjjh, impressive buggy-running! (Btw, funny to see that we've done all the same parkruns with our buggies at the turn of the year - Linwood on Hogmanay, Greenock on NYD, Portobello with the Fetchies.) Lots to learn for Mr SA and me - we found we had started too far at the back, so the first two laps were spent doing short sprints to overtake folk, then slotting back in to wait for the next chance to dash out as we didn't want to risk holding up any of the faster runners as they were lapping us. Can't believe how much Porty parkrun has grown since I last did it with Dvorak - well done, Team Porty!

Sat 7th Jan, Portobello parkrun, then into town for lunch / drinks, and possibly continuing on into evening and dinner.

10:15-12:00 Planet cafe for More tea, vicar? and Cake! www.planetcafeedin.co.uk
12:30-? Kilderkin for drinks, lunch, XC watching

Then folks who are heading off for early evening trains can walk to Waverley (it's uphill but about 10 minutes).
