I was only doing 6k and felt for the folk that were out there for hours, there wernt many smiling faces when I joined the runners at the Colinton tunnel, about 7k/8k into the race. Must have been even worse for the full marathon runners. Lothian Buses cancelled all buses late morning/afternoon - that cant have helped. Lots of Xmas shoppers that got buses into town got stranded. I managed to save a few quid, my daughter didnt get to go shopping
