Bazoaxe 23 Nov 10:04am, 23 Nov 2024 27,706 posts	0 Bazoaxe I feel for the water of leathers today. I went out to do seven miles and it was ok as I started, then sleet then snow then grim. I couldn’t feel my hands, my hat was falling down over my eyes, my lace came undone and I knew I wasn’t able to tie it. I had a few near missed then I fell glad to get home and rewarded myself with a fried egg roll I saw a few WoL Marshalls and a few runners going wrong way who I assume were marathoners. I hope they all had suitable gear on. Horrible day for everyone.
Ally-C 23 Nov 1:11pm, 23 Nov 2024 9,819 posts	0 Ally-C I enjoyed it 😀 The slush was worse than the snow. By the time you’d dropped to Leith it was rain. A few of the marathon runners were toiling at the end though. There was only 15 of them as it was a trial event.
