Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Tilly 10k was testing underfoot, not a day for running fast unless you were wearing grippy shoes. Frozen from start to finish (maybe because I was the only one wearing vest and shorts 😉 )
Could easily have been cancelled but was a good run out that I wouldn't have done unless the race was on.

Don’t think tilli 10 race should have been on!!

Slippy, snowy and seriously dangerous finish, wee slippy hill, 2 sharp turns, ice water filled potholes, really uneven road for last 150m

Just glad I got round without falling!

That seems to have been the consensus. Could be worse, someone L knows crashed en route.

Who's doing a New Year parkrun single? Might go to Strathclyde, or try again for Victoria (last year I headed towards there, but ended up at Springburn).

Although if the weather in the west is infelicitous, there's UoS, Dunfermline, and Polkiedot. And Holyrood, though I probably won't want to venture that far (although it would be a good day for parking).

And then I might try the Lenzie Jog on the 2nd, although as I can still feel the two Christmas parkruns in my legs, three days of even modest efforts actually might prove too much.

Holyrood isn’t on as there is a triathlon. Porty is and is my likely destination being the only Edinburgh one on I believe.
