Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Crathes will be back in the New Year (weather permitting ๐Ÿ˜‰). Will be likely be back on the first alternative course. The uphill will be a bog once this snow thaws.

All the parkruns round me cancelled, except Plean. And I don't expect that to go ahead.

Good news re Crathes.

Meadowmill parkrun was lovely, they had an alternative route on. Very friendly, nice roll and tea in the cafรฉ. We sat with people who knew you and Ian, Lorraine! Folk from Portobello parkrun. Didn't catch their names, but the guy was originally from Montrose.

In and around west Edinburgh was barely runnable in places. Corstorphine was awful but gorgie was mostly fine apart from the odd patch. I suspect it was a good call for Edinburgh parkrun. I cannot see my HM tomorrow at the same place going ahead but await confirmation.

Ayr was fully thawed bar a couple of small patches of compressed snow/ice that hadnโ€™t quite had time to melt. Not too muddy either, not sure why I was so slow but I can probably find an excuse if I try hard enough :-)

The HM tomorrow at cramond also cancelled now which based on my experience today is a good call. In fact the organiser sent photos of sections of the route and itโ€™s in bad shape.
