Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Oh wow, that'll be a blast from the past if it's the one that opened in 1991? I remember the TU, temporary union when I first started, then we got the new union. Saw a few bands there, and saw Jo Brand do stand up.

It's a new one. What is interesting is seeing how they've added the Oriam centre on to the old sports centre. The walled garden is still there and is where the parkrun starts - it's no longer a car park.

It's not the ideal start, funnelling into a narrow portal after about 20m. I've run it once, and reckoned I'd make a point of going back if it had proper snow. Tomorrow does not look like that day.

Narrow portal? There's a narrow archway on the way back but not on the way out.

The ED's checking the course early tomorrow mrs shanksi - somewhere around 6.30 - 7.00 - as this afternoon there is black ice

All local runs bar the beach cancelled, and anecdotally it’s not looking good. Just dug my car out and considering Dundee

was down there an hour ago, think the same problem as last saturday will likely put paid. I nearly went arse over tit several times in the space of half a km just walking. dreading even a post-gig 100m walk home around midnight

Iirc at Oriam the course started in the walled garden and took a sharp right on exit. Maybe it has changed?

Looking at the info, I see that the car park has changed so that it's not such a hike to the start (or drive the length of the campus.)
