Does anyone know whats happening with the Scottish 5k at Silverknowes this year? It's usually been open for a while by now. Date showing for 1st May and says entries end January but nearly March now.

"We have created a stunning new route along the beach promenade, through Seaton Park into the grounds of Old Aberdeen, and finishing with a lap on the track in the stadium at ASV!"
Entries will open today apparantly.

I don't know why I'm getting excited, I haven't done a 10k for years and I hate road. I like Seaton Park though. It sounds like a much nicer route.

I saw the Baker Hughes notice. I think it means they’ll have to close king St. both ways. Might be a bit like the Aberdeen Great Run which went through those areas too. (MrsShanksi it’s not just tarmac and concrete there are cobbles too).
