Not to be confused with Il Divo, which is possibly Divo after a bad curry, or some failed Broadway singers who decided to style themselves as opera singers, despite feck all training in anything more than dressing like a rugby player in a suit advert. Please go away.

VW and Harley Davidson, once iconic, now every fecker has one, "oo I'm a hippy," "ooo I'm a hell's angel" no ya not, you've got too much money you're mister fecking brand man. Once the preserve of the Furry Freaks Brothers now it's mainstream like MacDonalds.

Sir Stirling Moss who has been included on a poll in MotorSport Magazine to find Britain's greatest F1 world champion in spite of famously not winning a world championship. I know he's a vigorous ambassador for the sport when he's not falling down a lift shaft. He was the model for the modern racing driver in earning his living from driving when others were wealthy men dabbling in the sport so he did lots of really cheesy adverts. In spite of all this he retains the affection of many British fans but you can't include him in a poll of British F1 world champions. On those grounds, you can add David Coulthard, who's also a really nice bloke and won races or Martin Brundle who won Le Mans and the World Sportscar Championship but not so much as a single F1 race. He also had to work hard to earn a living from racing. Or you could add Michael Schumacher in spite of him being a bit of a bugger and German.
It's silly. Stirling has the adulation of thousands, a knighthood and expenses-paid travel to any motorsport event anywhere in the world which isn't bad recompense for Never Quite Winning The F1 World Championship. Don't include him on this list. It's demeaning to him and to the others on the list.

I love him to bits but I don't think he should be in this poll.
*spoiler*
Jimmy Clark is winning by miles.

Jim Clark dabbled in writing children's fiction - never been able to afford one of his books, sadly. Collector's items, apparently.
