Lmh, London is 10 weeks so I suppose you'd need 2- 3 weeks building and 1 week taper so yes, 6 weeks training. That'd probably be enough with your background that'd be OK achieve a gfa.

Reasonable session lunchtime. Descending to Ascending hill sprint pyramid. Session covered 6m so with wu and cd 10.5m. Felt OK in myself but a lot of nasal discharge.
Weather looks grim for parkrun tomorrow. 3c, raining and feels like 0c. If I was going purely to meet up with a friend I'd bin it off.

That's assuming I can start running from Wednesday DT19. Getting a bit fed-up with it now to be honest but at least I don't need to worry about motivating myself out in this weekend's 'arctic blast'. Forecast to feel like 1C and be raining at 0900hrs tomorrow. Not my preferred running conditions. LOL.

LMH - mk is only a week after London, I'm looking at Dorney in Sept......the problem you have is where ive been, in that even if he phys can make you 100% at the flick of a switch you still need to build back, but when you are rehabbing as ok build its a lot more gradual which is where i am, but my current mix is at least making me feel like I'm actually training.
DT - I guess the thinking is that everyone tries to hit every run, and the enforced (or not) 4 days off enabled a freshening up. Might be the next big fashion in marathoning.
Bike commute/ run 7m with the steady Kenyan hills for 4m. Just had physio, plan is to slowly build a bit more for a few weeks, and see what happens, before I see them next.

Sounds positive from the physio visit TR. I'm currently considering Solway on 1st June.

LMH - where is that?
Jools - meant to say.......thank you, most kind. Your training sounds much like mine at the mo, but the ballet would destroy me.......

TR.. encouraging news from the physio, hopefully you can continue without any setbacks.
OO61.. I do vaguely remember where you are in Tynemouth, a bit nearer the sea to where I used to live. I guess there's more scenic routes along the coast than inland. On a visit to my sister's I had a run along the wagon ways at Killingworth, a nice set of routes.
DT19.. good hill session today. I'm doubting the Parkrun prospects too, forecast here is rain/snow falling on cold surfaces which isn't a great mix. I'll see in the morning.
Jools.. hope you get to compete at the relays as it has been a while.
LMH.. it is looking considerably warmer from Wednesday onwards which will be a blessing. Two pairs of gloves needed for most of my ruñs this week.
Just a single run of 5.3m today plus my usual exercises.
