That's a nifty pace for park run whilst jeffing lin50. You must put a good run pace into that as well as walking at speed. You're well up in training for the GSR.
Although I'm all walk/run I do 5k or more on most days but I don't call it a success in relation to something like C25k. It's not a problem in itself completing the distance but my overall pace is slow and I still struggle as mere seconds go by! I know by checking results on our four local park runs that I'd plod in amongst the last ten participants in any of them. That's why I don't do them!!
3.7 miles in the drizzle this morning, quite dark when I set off.

Keeping up with the programme! Still only managing short running periods but am loving the walk bits! Doing around 25 miles a week and on track for my target of 1000 in the year which was my usual for the last decade or so until last year when I failed!!

Wow @steve45 25 miles a week is great. I managed to jog all the way round my half marathon race yesterday. Really started to feel it in the last 2 miles, and the last uphill stretch my legs were gone, but finished in 02:33:00. Not a great time, but much quicker than expected from my fitness/training. If I hadn't done jog/walk intervals on my SLR training runs I wouldn't have had a chance of doing it.

Ok, so the 1000 is well within my reach now with just 150 to go. Maintaining my weekly mileage should see me there around mid November.
Still run/walking and managing 40 second run bits again after a couple of more difficult weeks.

Well done @steve45 , I’m aiming for 750 this year.

30:30 at an ‘undulating’ parkrun on Saturday and then 6.5 miles at 30:30 on Sunday.

Less than 3 weeks to Great South Run and feeling very undertrained!

Thanks lin50. Crikey, less than three weeks! You did a fine 6.5 miles and that's only a park run short of the GSR distance. Another one of those if you can will set you up nicely.
Still on about 25 miles a week; dark when we leave the house in the mornings now, 3.6 miles in perfect conditions was ok.
