I can't use the word boring about last night, as it was a close game,but frustration. Silly penalties, from both sides. It spoils the game. Plus the use of the kick by backs when in attacking positions. And I'm not just referring to Burgess' punts! Both teams and some clubs have League coaches. Yet as soon as there is a break and the fast men get through, unless it's a clear route or easy overlap, then the ball gets hoofed. There were a couple of breaks by both sides that a bit of inter passing or taking the tackle and keeping momentum going with a quick turnover would've bought a try or had them a lot closer. Maybe I need to learn more about the game, however when I was first introduced to League I was immediately bored by the England style back then under Rob Andrew and co. Has much changed?

I reckon if you don't like the scrums and the mauls etc. you'll struggle to enjoy most matches. Did you watch the SA v. Japan game? That had lots of running rugby.
