Nobody who actually knows sh*t about the game is saying that CT, just the hangers-on and fair weather supporters. Johnno and the rest of the team have sensible heads on and know full well that if they blow it for both the next two weekends AND the 6N, it's back to the drawing board. Even you'd admit though, I hope, that the team looks promising. It's amazing though how everyone's reconsidering their thoughts concerning a) the Wobblies possessing an exciting team who know what they're doing when faced with a 3N-style attack, and b) England's ability to only win games up front and from the old kick and clap style. Yeah, sure, if their no10 had nailed all his kicks, it'd have been a darned sight closer, but a win's a win. |

I'm excited about North, though, despite certain media commentators calling him "the Welsh Lomu".

Yeah North was the best thing about Wales, shame Shane went of injured. And agree one win don't mean England are the best again, its just the first step on a rocky road. And yeah 6N should be great next year.

What surprised me was the lack of set pieces and the number of rucks won optasportsdata.telegraph.co.uk |

Very interesting stats. Shows, apart from the scoreline, what a different game England played.

Frob - I hope you noticed the LOL implying the tongue in cheek - It was a fantastic game for England - And the point was they stopped playing their usual grind it out in the forwards and kick away possession - They played 15 man rugby and as a result Ashton and Cueto actually got hold of the ball in attacking positions rather than as a result of rushing back defence - Learn the lessons - This game does not Exonerate the years of 8 man rugby that we have to endure watching Englanmd play, and if England go back to playing that kind of Rugby they will go back to getting the same results we have (sadly) got used to. Trust me - a win over the Aussies is worth full celebration regardles of who the team was |

I did, CT, I did. I trust you'll steamroller Ireland, Wales, the 3N, then fail in the QFs back home - at which point GH is elected Prime Minister. Or lynched!
