Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

We've been twice, the first time one of our lifeboats that they were lowering to transport us hit the deck and we had to spend two days there whilst a sea crane came to sort it out.

If anyone wonders what today's sculpture depicts: iwm.org.uk An often forgotten part of the war effort in WWII.

The garden has grown nicely since it was opened!

I'm enjoying today's Duddo Stones. Love things like that.

We are travelling up to Scotland next year to visit OH relatives, might have to see how close they are to our route.

Corrah we're staying near Killin, by Loch Tay.

Travelling up/down via Falkirk to see the Kelpies. Don't really have anything else planned yet!

Best circle I have seen I think was Callanaish (sp?) on the Outer Hebrides.

Killin is a fabulous spot, one of my favourites in Scotland. It's ancient stone is a bit crap however ;)
