Thanks all. I can only be bothered to stop and take photos on my bike rides, which is why most of my photos are on cycling routes! That was a very fortuitous photo though, right place right time.

McG, that's Shooter's Hill. i think it's the highest natural point in London (and it flipping feels like it when you're cycling over it!!). it feels as steep as it looks in the graph!
[English Lit lesson: the start of "a tale of two cities" is about a coach and horses struggling up a hill, wary of highway men. It's shooter's hill it's struggling up]
