George Michael and now Carrie Fisher, my house is in a state of mourning. Big parts of our (mine and Mrs P) childhood have been torn from us these past two days.

I queued up for three hours at a collectors fair in Milton Keynes for her autograph in 2003 or 2004 because Mrs P was at work. I remember she looked exhausted and let her publicist do all the talking but she had warm smile for all. It was a privilege to meet her briefly.
