Joyce threw more punches but the Frenchman's were more impactful - you could see Joyce's head being thrown back when he was hit.
Not sure the Frenchman fights the kind of fight that generates a great following in the pro game tho.

I'm not a fan of 'judged' sports either, I know that there have been some very dodgy decisions in the boxing, but not sure about any of the others like gymnastics or diving.
I always prefer the 'who's the fastest' events
