I wish I could get OH and the teenagers on board with this. They very begrudgingly use reusable dishcloths but prefer the disposable sponges with the scrubber that we used to use.

Their great aunt buys these and gives them to us because they complain - this woman uses different chemical cleaners for *everything*. For cleaning bathroom taps, Viakal spray. For the shower head, Viakal liquid. Washing up liquid, washing liquid, two different fabric softeners. Special tea stain stuff for cups from Lakeland called Tea Away. Jeyes fluid for the drains. Kitchen cleaner. Bathroom cleaner. One sort of polish for her dining table. A different sort for other wood. Bleach.

So I have discovered a grocery delivery service that lets you do veg boxes with no potatoes (whoop!), but they dont deliver to our area yet:
farmdrop.com

All deliveries are done by electric vans. Maybe useful to some of you :)

Hey @Carpathius - Perhaps give a present to Great Aunt = the Blue Planet. David Attenborough might help her to see our past conveniences / etiquettes are becoming less acceptable if we want to be part of our planet.

Nice Curly. Have seen veg boxes from a company in Egham. Will find out who they are.

This is off topic but just saw this on the NHS website about research between cancer and household cleaners: nhs.uk

My aunt told me this the other day.

Just order my first shampoo bar and bar soap from Wild Sage. All comes wrapped in recycled paper :)

I also got a moisturiser which comes in a glass jar with metal lid. At £12 it better be good ;) Its supposed to last for ages though so we shall see...

Anyone know how I might create bubbles in the bath without resorting to squirty plastic bottles? Would like to move the kids to soap and a solid shampoo but they do love their bubbles...
