I have a satchel/small laptop bag that I got from a conference about 12 years ago. It's so useful, best freebie ever

I had a good sized metal water bottle (a la Sigg type) from my most recent conference back in February. One company was giving away drones (yes, really) but I wouldn't have been able to take one - our company has guidelines about 'gifts' that one can accept! I refrained from picking up more plastic pens. I did pick up a very tiny flashlight.

In my previous life, I worked with various media publishers, one of which sent annual "corporate gifts" that were great. One year I had a nice document folder (still in use nearly 20yrs later) and another I had a metal and leather luggage tag which I still use.

A tiny flashlight. I'd find that really useful.

Pens. If black I keep and hand extras to my colleagues. If blue, I give to my kids. Or keep for home use. I've no idea what to do with the barrels.

Day 28: What methods have you used to encourage your partner to reject single-use stuff? How have you made it easier for this partner to BYOR shopping bag / produce bag / cup / take away containers / etc?

Wouldn't call it a method, but as I'm making ecobricks, he is aware of the amount of plastic being washed and dried. I've given him a reusable coffee cup and he uses his bike bottles for carrying water. He does the *big shop* with reusable bags. Still working on shampoo/ shower gel etc And he does a lot of cycling , so carries gels, energy bars etc. That's a work on progress too
