Back to work tomorrow, so tonight we made fresh hot trimmings to accompany cold cuts of turkey. ‘Twas pretty good.

From a few days ago. Mother in law cooked it. I swallowed the tomatoes whole before eating the other stuff

Harsh marker!
If it makes any difference, there was 2 types of stuffing ( sage/onion and chestnut ). And I believe you’ve overlooked the well of gravy held betwixt the roast potatoes.

*note to self - remember not to invite Tuppers round for tea... *

Mind you, I hate cold veg and gravy, especially peas. That point towards the end of your meal when it's all gone a bit cold and you're scraping up peas and gravy... shudder.

I was too hungry to photograph my tea tonight.
Toad-in-the-hole, mash, carrots, parsnips, peas and of course plenty of gravy. I did think of you lot though.
