Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Nothing major.

I booked the PI for the four nights, then changed it to Wed and Sat, then cancelled both.

Never received an e-mail confirming cancellation so after a while tried to cancel online again so I could have the paperwork up to date. Wouldn't let me cancel again as the website couldn't find the booking.

So I stupidly assumed it was cancelled. Especially when I didn't get a text message reminding me about the booking.

Get home to find an invoice from the PI for a no-show for Weds night for £70. Phoned the hotel to complain. My details taken and "Passed to the appropriate department". Told they'd phone me today pm. They didn't. So I've e-mailed them, but I don't have an awful lot of faith in their system to get the e-mail to the appropriate department.

If I knew I'd be paying £70 for a Hotel night at the PI on the Wednesday night, then I'd not have stayed in Walthamstow and I'd have run a 3:57 on day 1!
