Magbag, stretching is good, unless it is an acute tear... ice is also good. The ibuprofen gel does work, but I prefer to self massage with arnica oil, unless there is a acute inflammation from a tear, and it does not sound like a tear, more like a strain...

Thanks Hann i will give the Arnica oil a try , i dont think it is a tear. After the race i was fine , done my cool down and stretching . I felt it when i got out the car when we got home, must have stiffend up with the car journey.

Geting some twinging around left knee today, is this a good sign? Wont run on it yet though still doing foam roller, ice & stretches

got pneumonia, feel sorry for self, cant walk let alone run. a long term gradual training plan may be in order. :)
