Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

And me... hit by a car on a pedestrian crossing out running, for those who did not know that yet...<br><br>Utterly frustrating as I ran the Rotterdam Marathon on 9 April, recovered really well and was off for a string of PB's on shorter races. Now feeling utterly frustrated! Sciatica has developed so went to see the doc again yesterday who predicted... 6-8 weeks off running!!!! Other than the a&e people who said 3-6 weeks! And in my enthusiasm after a great marathon I have already signed up and paid for loads of races :-(<br><br>It's getting depressing!

Hope you recover quickly Hanneke, what injuries did you get?<br><br>I got hit by a bus last year on my way to a bus stop (lol), but I was very lucky the bus went into the side of me and I bounced off hit my head on a lamppost and was out clean. When I woke up I was surrounded by a group of strangers. But all I had in the end was a very sore shoulder and acing back/legs.
