I have a pair of short shorts I used to use for racing. I'd wear it with a crop top so it necessitated the folding of my race number 😎

I'm in the market for some new running shorts. I like the old school split proper short jobs. The fashion appears to be 5 inch flappy numbers with not many decent choices outside of OMM, Ron Hill or NB. Anything I'm missing please? A zip key pocket would be good but otherwise nothing fancy
