Bennett out with COVID, UAE won't be as strong in the mountains then.

That's got to worry UAE if he's been working closely with other team members too.

They have individual rooms but apparently Majka was also positive but with virus levels low enough to allow him to start.

Nervy times for teams then.

On the highlights last night they said everyone negative. I wonder what’s changed today. Symptoms I suppose?

Yes, yesterday they said rest day tests were negative. That suggests Majka can only get worse surely?

I think yesterday it was PCRs that were negative, today's are LFTs. Presumably a timing issue.
But Bennett must have picked it up from "somewhere" (though they're not quite as cocooned as they would have been earlier in the pandemic's progress).

LFTs don't tell you level of virus, it has to be PCR eventually even if the original result is LFT (that's my understanding anyway.

I’m surprised Majka is allowed to race. Unless it’s a false positive he will surely get worse and then be out.

Fair point. I'd presumed that he'd done a daily LFT after the whole peloton cycle of PCR tests had been completed, evidenced a positive test and then that had been cycled back into a new PCR (or something similar) to determine viral load. I could be wildly wrong!
