All my plans not to overeat and drink between last weekend and Paris went out of the window last night when we went out to celebrate good news! We forgot to have the'Who is driving home' chat so ended up walking 3 miles home and then having to get up extra early this morning to go and pick up the car!

I haven't taught with a hangover for a long time! And the last day of term is not the best day to try!

Life gets in the way sometimes MrsB. And with so much bad news around... Your trespass is completely condoned, in my book. Speaking of books... in my previous school, I went into the English base on my first day and spotted a book on the CPD shelf: "How to Teach With a Hangover."

It's probably still in Invy - but I'm not for going back there.
Sorry to here you were under the weather - especially without a fun cause.

so are we all getting excited yet or is it too soon .............. ;-) I've printed out my convocation form today to find it says my start time is 10.05 but I'm hoping to move forward 1 colour , I know a club mate is going to struggle to get his train home as he'd done his calculations on the 8.45am start time .......... :-(

I didn't read the email telling you to get your convocation form as I assumed that "D-15 - The final preparations" was just the usual promotion nonsense trying to get you to buy some expensive orange juice. Luckily a clubmate told me about it yesterday. Lesson learned no.1 - never assume and always read everything for foreign marathons.

I also found, after going to book seats next to my clubmates, that back in September I somehow managed to book the Easyjet flight from Bristol to CdG on Thursday and Tuesday instead of Friday and Monday. How I managed that I have absolutely no idea. Oh well, lesson learned no. 2, always double-check everything when booking flights. Thankfully the Friday and Monday flights were still available.

its the form you need to print out which has your actual time on and its this form you need to take with you to the expo to collect your bib number, it should be there if you log on , but I was talking to a chap at the Oakley 20 who hadn't seen his but he has a charity place so not sure if its done differently with a charity place or not ?
