For my English portfolio I have been doing a discursive essay on the addition of climbing into the Olympics. It has been a great excuse to learn about how it is being added (and to watch some events as "Homework" )

I really love the Olympics but without a big buildup I have no idea who is competing or when anything is.

I’m sure once it starts we’ll get into it, though with the time difference I’m guessing it will be a highlights programme every night for best viewing.

For the athletics portion of the Seoul Olympics, I went to bed at 5pm after work and then got up around midnight for a jog and then watched the games until I had to go to work in the morning. I doubt I'll be quite so keen this time.

(A housemate tried the same tactic and got completely out of sync by about the 5th or 6th day.)
