Spring....tsk.
If at some point in the next few months the temp soars to about 5 deg C and the sun pops out for the odd minute, they'll be carnage on race day with heat exhaustion!

Well good luck everyone, I shall be sporting my club vest, but I'll have a fetch buff on and some thermal attire (again. *sigh*)

OAKLEY 20 - CANCELLED
Bedford Harriers regrets to advise that the Oakley 20 & 3K Fun Run are cancelled.
Prevailing weather conditions have made the run route and it's environs unacceptably perilous and expected sub-zero temperatures overnight will exacerbate the hazards.
Provision to mail the race mementoes is being made.
Please return to this website later today for further information on how to order yours.
It is anticipated that mailings will begin week commencing 8th April 2013
As many entrants will be aware the race expenses are considerable and are all still payable regardless of whether the race proceeds. In consequence we are unable to offer refunds or transfers
