Anyone else at Colshaw Hall at the weekend? My first toeing of a line since "stuff happened", and whilst it will be messy and slow I'll still be happy to be there.

My 18yo son is running too; if you're there, look out for him near the back - he'll stand out as the young man with Down's Syndrome rising to the adulation of the crowd ;-)

"Undertrained and stuck in the wrong wave" is me too Homer. Still, will be "nice" to be racing. If you're the FERC athlete on the start list I'll keep half an eye out for a vest if you make it there.

Looks like I'm going. Last time I ran the course was 2 years ago so I can beat my 57 from then! My mileage has dropped like a stone in the last 3 months while I focus on other things so no pressure - just gonna run in the nice lanes

Larks - watch out for the hill at 7.5k - it is know locally as the Cote du Peover and dreaded by weaklings like me that run on the Cheshire flats

Yep, I ran that bit a couple of years ago whilst two of my lads were at the Blue dot festival. Already in my race plan!!
