Wriggling Snake Apr 2019 9:16pm, 3 Apr 2019 22,020 posts	0 Wriggling Snake I ran a 4 mile TT at Marple Runners tonight. 28.18, not bad, it was out an back..at the turn I overtook the lad I was running against, in front of him all the way back until about 200m out I could hear him catching me up, he went got level about 20m out and pipped me by 1m at the line. I called him a name then shook his hand and reminded him I am at least 25 years older and my WAVA would crush his.

Marple is a newish club, the run was in aid of the local foodbank, your entry is a couple of items for the foodbank. They have a few good runners, I think a membership of 120 or so, the must have had 80 or so turn up even thoug it was hailing early on, I think I was 6th/7th, race starts and ends at the pub, free sandwiches etc, you have to give your number back and safety pins (which will get used again), old school.
