Today I got 360 feedback for the first time. I should have done it before. It confirmed what I already know about myself, but gave me the kick required to improve. And then I went to a meeting and actually put into practise one of my improvement areas :)

You have sent me off Googling AGAIN. I want ot know what coal rye bread is./all I got was a Danish recipe for recipe for 'Pan-fried coalfish with rye bread' Whats the coal bit? does it jst mean very dark? Perhaps it contains one of my favourite ingredients.... black treacle.

Black treacle and chili improve almost any foodstuff known to woman. Usually both at the same time.

What is 360 feedback, please WA?

Am codger and out of touch with The World of Work.

Tried to listen to some Stormzy earlier this evening, but it was a bit of a cheat and hopeless because it was just Front Row on R4 and was mainly an interview. I WILL do it properly before the month is up.

Linds - NOW I remember about Lampedusa. Am idiot.

Oooh I have to choose... I'll choose in the morning because there might be some late posters.... I have one or two ideas already though..

Not a very exciting newt for me today - I ordered something to eat in the pub that I wouldn't normally have and I tried a couple of new beers.

I was hoping to use my new iron but that particular newt will have to wait a while I think.

Wanda had a newt today though - she sniffed a new dog in the... um... traditional dog greeting way - with no growling or anything.... A good dog newt

I'm sure I've seen a recipe for rye bread that does invilve black treacle.

So you're totally au fait with Grime then, Linds?

I reminded Raffo that Jess Ennis is a big Stormzy fan, so perhaps I ought to listen. He said Jess Ennis is black-ish (like that comedy) and I'm not (oh!) but more pertinently she's half my age. He said he's going to listen to some James Last.

Is bamboo waterproof? I used to use bamboo nappies for my kids, back when bamboo was a dead new fabric.

Today I went to Ryde, which I hadn't been to before, ate at a new (to me) restaurant, had a kale and squash dish which was delish (though the sauce was too salty) and a blackberry parfait. And caught the catamaran too, which I'd not done before. Basically today was all new from breakfast onwards :)
