Wow, well done, BD. I didn't realise you were doing that. I really miss New York, too. |

Thanks RF. Looks like NYRR have the same jobsworths as FLM do! Let us know if you need an email bombardment or anything.

Hey girlie, dunno what to say, it's a really kind offer. Would like to say do it, but at the same time don't want you guys wasting time when Tom Kelly (score director) is sticking by the rules. Think us Brits are always causing them problems - remember Lloyd Scott? nyc24.org Someone told me that they only made him an official finisher only after the NYRR were flooded with emails plus talked about on the news and radio. However tried searching for him on their website and he isn't there in the archives. As ck said - I know I made it over the line and at least got a medal! Tom Kelly said that if I had registered as disabled, I would be an official finisher! So to everyone who wants to run slow - register as disabled. ....right now am wondering if I really can drag a tractor tyre ![]() |

Just thought I would revive this page and get it back onto "Hot Topics" seeing as some of us may have now received our confirmed entries for the 2008 race. This will be my first marathon. Going over with a large crowd from Ireland, who are all running for MENCAP. I think there are around 100 of us. Would be good to see what the UK contingent is like, so if you're running in the ING NYM 2008, post your details here. We're heading over for 5 nights (Thurs - Tues). Would be good to introduce ourselves on Fetch and meet up for a (post) race pint or two. C75 |

#NEW YORK, NEW YORK, so good i ran it twice. This will be my third and possibly last year as the tour I run with are stopping after the 08 one as it is getting too expensive. Three of us from Bracknell are going THU to THU, LHR-JFK. Can't wait. |
