We don't have places in Singapore Marathons (yet) but thanks for the connection. I wonder if they would throw in a few free flights?

It is extremely well organised, the drinks stations stay open even for the slow folk. However, it lacks spectator support. Singaporeans would prefer to look from afar - too hot to be outside!!!

Just wanted to let you know that I successfully finished my New York "Double" (NYC Marathon on 4 November, and the Knickerbocker 60K in central park today, 17 November (a 1.5 mile out and back, followed by 9 loops of the 4 mile inner drive in the park). Finished in 5:56. Kind of strange going from the first race with 39,000 runners to today with about 350 runners. Still lots of fun. So now, it's rest and relax until December, when the Boston Marathon training cycle starts. Happy trails to all!
