Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

I don't think Dio is on his own though. Unless he's only making dinner for himself and everyone else has to do their own.

My friend accused me of fancying someone at the garage. Or having Munchausens by proxy. In fact, I think the car is jealous because I bought a house. (Or possibly it's falling apart because it is 10 years old and has done...quite a lot of miles.)

I quite often cook and do the washing up. This is because OH is crap at washing up (despite decades of my patiently ;-) explaining to him where he needs to improve.) I also like to see the kitchen tidy to my standards, not his.

When Mrs D cooks I do the clearing up. When I cook I do the clearing up. It's a system she seems to like.

To be fair to her, she's not feeling too good today, so I didn't expect her to do it. However, what normally happens is she likes to go and sit down after dinner and then forgets all about it. I hate leaving it so I just get on with it. Asking or reminding her to do it would seem like nagging.

Couldn't do that, ar.

I've connected a PS3 to the internet and am now downloading Netflix on to it.

Tea tonight was crisps & dip, with cider, in front of Trainspotting. Ate a lot of lunch ('truffle shuffle' burger, beer cheese sauce fries, a couple of actual beers, followed by a 'dead unicorn sundae'. Then a large gin cocktail whilst waiting for the next bus home.

I have replaced the batteries in the TV remote.

The old ones were flat, so it wasn't working.
