Trainspotting the book is excellent. Trainspotting the film is excellent too but not like the book st all in many ways. The sequal book is shit. I cannot see the film being anything other than being a pale referential imitation.
Watch Shallow Grave instead.

I once went into a French motorway services toilet which reminded me of The Worst Toilet in Scotland. There aren't that many scenes which you can remember that vividly!
