That's what I meant by strike. That overtime ban has scuppered any trips for me to the NDW. I really feel for anyone who has to travel on Southern every day.

Bought my train tickets to London today, and was reassured by the (stationmaster / booking clerk / head cook and bottlewasher) that my route will not be affected by strike action.
He added that they never strike on a bank holiday because they're paid double time for working on a bank holiday.

I'm hope and still stuffed from my chicken dinner. It was tons better than the one I had the other night in a 4* hotel.
