Well, I was booked in for this appointment with her over a month ago. I suppose that shows me where I come in her order of priorities. How come, I wondered as I lay in the chair, that when my old dentist (now retired) used to do my check-ups, he used to say 'Nothing happening in this mouth, see you in 12 months' time' with no mention of hygienist or polishing etc, whereas now, Mr New Dentist says 'Nothing happening in this mouth, see you in 6 months' time and make an appointment to see the hygienist'? Bit of a stab in the dark here, but it wouldn't be anything to do with money would it?
