Where has the sunny weather gone? Showers make for mucky planting but at least the plants like it. Stopped for coffee

Just had a bit of cheese on toast as post-PT recovery. Need a bath and to sort this place ready for a delivery.

F**k furniture delivery is early, no warning text, I am in the bath! Luckily K is here we will have to get them to leave the stuff in the hall as the bedroom isn't sorted.

(I used to work with someone who would declare that loundly dead on midday every day, then he and his cronies would depart for an hour, whatever was going on)

Sitting in a car park at Gillette Corner. Now that *is* mundane.

Following on from a comment yesterday, and some digressions in my blog, I wondered what verbs you use for mundane tasks?
For example, I always say I'm going to 'jump' in the shower, Mrs D tells me to 'whack' the oven on, I 'stick' the kettle on and, when in a hurry, I 'chuck' on some clothes.
There's probably a proper grammatical term for these kind of expressions that, if I was sitting my SATS, I should know.
