About to start considering prepping tonight's dinner ~ cottage pie. It'll be topped with 'leeky mash'.

[Given that I'd not paid any attention to today being St. David's Day is it considered pro or anti Welsh sentiment to cut up, mash, and eat leek today?

And does it make any difference that my ancestry involves Welsh blood?

Does it, in fact, matter at all?]

No, it doesn't :)
Glad you're on the mend, Bint x
I'm a bit concerned about everyone discussing Badger's area though...

I have hung one item of washing (a cardigan I can't tumble dry) out on the line as there has been a break in the grey cloud and rain. I can however see more grey clouds and rain heading this way from the West so I don't think it'll be out there very long. The rest of the washing is going in the tumble dryer.

anyway back to Badgers. One of my favourite things to do back in Cirencester was to go to the drillman's arms, in summer, have a pint or two, come back at dusk, go through the farm opposite, and watch the Badgers emerge......

I have replaced the batteries in the TV remote.

The old ones were flat, so it wasn't working.
