And he brings you nice parcels! Sounds like a catch, Bint.;-)

I think I'm going to see if I can get the sofa loose covers in the eashing machine. This sunshine is showing me just how grubby they are.

I too am waiting for a delivery but haven't been given a time slot other than 7am - 7pm but we have to go out now so it will probably come then but Homebase is more important than a blind for the window

Just saved £508 on our buildings/contents insurance renewal, and with better cover. Possibly the most productive hour I've ever spent shopping around.

Blimey, that's more than my entire premium which I saved £100 on on renewing elsewhere this week. Do you have a very big house, lots of valuables and live in a Hugh risk area for flooding and subsidence?

We claimed twice on the old policy last year - once for drain repairs and once when I broke my specs falling over, so this year we've no NCB. Plus OH's 6 bikes of course, with worldwide cover, they all add up :-)

I needed to post a parcel to Dio so I went to the post office.

The man behind the counter was very chatty. He wanted to know what was in the parcel (fair enough) but then wanted to know about the book itself and the film. Apparently he's not very good at watching modern films.

I have replaced the batteries in the TV remote.

The old ones were flat, so it wasn't working.
