Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

:) Maz.

I went out of the room and somebody scored a goal. It was the wrong side though. I think I might turn over to Dad's Army.

Which wastes more time - playing with animals or Fetching?

What about us poor people who can't afford to go out on a Saturday night Maz, why do they punish us with rubbish TV?

I don't know, Pedro. You'd think the TV companies would be pleased about people staying in. I don't know why they can't gather in all the people who don't want to/ can't afford to/ aren't able to go out and we could all have a lovely TV party together?

(Radio stations do it too, by playing bloody dance music on a Friday. If I wanted to hear wall-to-wall clubbing music, I'd go clubbing. I don't want to, because I'm too old and grumpy. So play something with a proper tune that I can sing along to.)

We are going to watch the second half of histrionic costume drama ghost story Crimson Peak tonight. We ended up only watching the first half last night due to eldest facetiming us from Uni.

You will all be pleased to hear that the daffodil conversation situation has been resolved: My aunt was trying to text another of my cousins who had bought her some daffodils. She rang to tell me. She's also recently been to the theatre to see a Roy Orbison impersonator (she likes Roy Orbison, 'or at least I did when he was alive'.)

Are we all keeping up?

It's an easier read than what you were saying about your office microwave, certainly.

My fajita's were lovely...but pizza also sounds nice so that may be tomorrow's supper although I have just cooked salmon so could have that.

I have replaced the batteries in the TV remote.

The old ones were flat, so it wasn't working.
