My OH often puts cheese and pickle in hot cross buns. Must be a northern thing. (As you can see, I'm just catching up!)

Back from the walk. We went to the beach cafe and I had a bacon butty. It had 5 rashers of back bacon between 2 slices of white bloomer bread. Butter was optional and you had to put it on yourself by dismantling the sandwich then putting it back together again. There were so many more people on the prom when we walked back.

LD you are probably right, I think it seems a lot as its not the means for us, the train station I have here would be good (only 10 minutes into the town centre) but they stop only so often. Snowing again here.
