When we went to get on our plane there was a man who stayed in the departure lounge. I was told that it was Eddie the Eagle, but I don't think he got on our plane.

I just had it confirmed that it was an earthquake that I felt last night as I was reading in bed at 11.44p.m. local time. This was then followed at 11.59p.m. by a loud clap of thunder.

Been to spin. Not content with their 'eat cake to banish heart disease' initiative, gym is doing a thing where they have given each letter of the alphabet an exercise, and are encouraging people to 'spell out your full name as quickly as possible.'

Not flipping likely, there are 13 letters in my full name. I'm never going to win that.

I have replaced the batteries in the TV remote.

The old ones were flat, so it wasn't working.
