On a train. Should be running part of the way but CBA this morning so I'll try to run it back this afternoon instead, as I'm finishing early.

Morning. The Internet wasn't working properly first thing. The dustmen came while I was drinking my tea. I've now had breakfast. It's sunny out at the moment but little clouds are coming in from the west. It may be raining this afternoon.

I don't like the inside out method, it's fine for singles but not so good for king size, the duvet seems to end up in the middle with the edges of the cover empty and flaccid.

My mum tried to get me to do the inside out method from an early age but I could never get it to work for me.

Another way to do it more effectively is to do it as a pair. One person goes inside the inside out duvet and while they are vulnerable, the other person sets about them with a pillow.

A machine could be built to do it. It would be the same as a washing machine, but without water.

We all know that when a duvet cover is washed, most of what else is washed at the same time ends up inside the cover. The same would surely also be true if the duvet and cover were alone inside the washing machine.

I decided to walk down the hill today instead of getting the bus.

I have replaced the batteries in the TV remote.

The old ones were flat, so it wasn't working.
