The weather is horrible. And someone or something keeps banging around outside my window.

Apart from pasta for lunch, I only have fruit as a snack with me and no cash. I've had a banana already but I'm starving. Saving the apple for this afternoon.

Srsly, .B.? I think eating a whole bar (except in very special cases, like finishing a half marathon) is like aversion therapy and I don't want to risk that!

I struggle to have any chocolate or other sweet stuff in the house without eating it LD. It is better to have none because otheriwse I will scoff it all, usually in one go. All the Christmas and birthday stuff is gone and ai am not going to buy any more.

We have hardly any alcohol in the house. Most of the stuff that is here has probably been untouched in years. I was given a bottle of Hendricks gin when I left work at the end of May and we have had the odd G&T on a weekend, but probably about 4 times since May. I much prefer chocolate!

I think beer and wine are my downfall, although rarel have any outside of the weekend now, I think that is due to a combination of age and running......rather than just keeping fit.

I find it interesting how we all differ. I don't need to resist alcohol at all, I hardly ever fancy it unless out for a meal or on holiday. However, sweet treats I really have to try to control myself or I would be eating crap every day.

I am the same as you, B, except that I could also quite happily eat crisps for every meal (and do, more often then I'd like to admit to).

I have replaced the batteries in the TV remote.

The old ones were flat, so it wasn't working.
